Orodje of Okpe enjoins people of Aboh Kingdom to rally Oputa III

Traditional rulers have been described as bridge builders between the government and the people.

The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), Orhue 1, made this known when he played host to the traditional ruler of Aboh Kingdom, Dr Greg Oputa, Obi Oputa III and his chief at the Orodje’s palace in Orerokpe.

The Orodje noted that the roles played by traditional rulers in sustaining peace and bringing development to their areas could not be overemphasized and assured that the relationship between both kingdoms would fast-track growth in their domains.

The Okpe monarch who is also the Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers said they would ensure that their subjects adhered to the laws of the land to attract more development to their area.

He enjoined the people of Aboh Kingdom to rally around their king for the area to become the envy of other places.

The king of Aboh Kingdom, Obi Oputa III expressed joy that the relationship would bring good tidings to both kingdoms.

Obi Oputa described the Orodje of Okpe as an experienced king and bridge builder whose reign had brought benefit to the kingdom and humanity.

The Aboh monarch said the traditional rulers would bring their wealth of experience together for the benefit of Deltans.
