Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State will on Thursday, July 29, 2021, swear in eleven new commissioner-designates as commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.
The eleven of them were screened and confirmed by the Delta State House of Assembly during Tuesday’s plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
They are :
1. Prof Patrick Muoboghare
2. Hon Chika Ossai
3. Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana
4. Chief Emmanuel Amgbaduba
5. Dr Mordi Ononye
6. Hon. Ovie Oghoore
7. Barrister (Mrs) Bridget Ayanfulu
8. Hon Solomon Golley
9. Isaiah Bozimo, Esq
10. Hon Henry Sakpra
11. Hon Jennifer Oma Adasen, (Esq)
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah says the swearing-in ceremony will take place at Event Centre on Okpanam Road, Asaba, beginning at 12:00 noon.
The statement however requested the appointees, their families and other guests to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
