The member representing Ughelli North 1 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Charles Oniyere, has felicitated with Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on his assumption of office as Governor of Delta State.
Hon Oniyere at Stephen Keshi Stadium, the venue of the inauguration of the new government of Delta State, told journalists immediately after the oath taken by Oborevwori and his deputy, Monday Onyeme, that the new administration has all it takes to advance Delta state.
“I want to on behalf of my family, the good people of Ughelli North One, and political associates, congratulate His Excellency, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori (JP) FICMC, FNIM, on his assumption of office as Governor of Delta State.
“I rejoice with His Excellency on this auspicious event and prayed God to grant him the wherewithal to advance our dear Delta State as captured in his M.O.R.E. Agenda,” Oniyere stated.
Continuing he said “Having closely worked with Oborevwori as Chairman, of the Assembly Committee on Business, Rules and Judicial Matters, I am very confident of his capability to build upon the enviable legacies of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa-led government.
“Oborevwori as Speaker of Delta Assembly for six years promoted love, unity, and stability. His achievements were unprecedented and would remain evergreen in the State Legislature,” the lawmaker stated.
Oniyere assured Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the support of the people of Ughelli North 1 State Constituency.
