Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and some persons with staled membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have been told to advise the federal government and President Bola Tinubu, as Nigeria’s inflation rate rose to forty percent (40%) in April.

Speaking to newsmen on Monday, the Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor, Barr. Latimore Oghenesivbe, said the advise became necessary, so as to save ordinary Nigerians who constitutes over 90% of the population from incremental acute hardship, hunger, frustration and hopelessness in the face of pitiable mismanaged national economy by the Tinubu led APC national government.

He noted that Nigeria is in a state of socioeconomic comatose, wherein citizens have lost hope in the ability of the ruling party at the centre to correct itself on various anti people socioeconomic policies introduced from May 29, 2015 till date, saying that it was and still the duty of leaders of the APC and their one leg-in PDP friends to advise the Presidency to save Nigeria from the foreseeable danger of total economic collapse.

Barrister Oghenesivbe, who is also the Head of Delta State Orientation Bureau, said the state government under the MORE agenda of governor Oborevwori, is committed to it’s realistic reforms that is already yielding positive results in all sectors of the state economy, adding that progress so far made has attracted commendation from well meaning Deltans and Nigerians.

He said those who are surprised at the enviable performance of governor Oborevwori, should do well to commend his food governance strides, and join hands with him to do more for the people, rather than cast unjustifiable and laughable aspersions that goes to no issue whatsoever.

Oghenesivbe assured governor Oborevwori’s detractors and political rivals that no stone shall be left unturned in the ongoing robust implementation of the MORE Agenda to substantially upscale development, create wealth and jobs for Deltans, and that the number of gigantic projects across the three senatorial districts shall increase.

He noted that for the first time since the creation of Delta State, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, which is widely recognized as the major construction giant in Nigeria, has been drafted by the governor to construct three flyer overs and road expansion projects, while assuring Deltans that governor Oborevwori will sustain fiscal discipline and prudent management of resources, serve to the best of his abilities in fulfilment of his social contract with citizens of the state.

He expressed absolute confidence in the capacity, pedigree and resourcefulness of members of the state executive council to assist the governor to deliver quality dividends of democracy to all Deltans on a regular basis, devoid of political affiliation, ethnic nationality and religious bigotry.

“Delta State is in good standing and moving forward. Insecurity is a national problem which the federal government have been battling without success. It’s not a Delta State thing if you check the history of bandits and terrorism in Nigeria. The truth is that Delta is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.

“The problem of Nigeria was caused, created or instigated by the anti people economic policies of the federal government under the All Progressives Congress, APC, as introduced from May 29, 2015 till date. It’s bitting harder with inflation rate now at 40% all high.

“I think it’s time for leaders of the APC and their co-conspirators in PDP (one leg in, one leg out) and in other parties, to advise Mr President and the federal government to reverse all anti development economic policies so far introduced since APC took control of the government at the centre.

“There is spiral silence in the country, due largely to disinformation and propaganda tactics of the Tinubu administration, using a section of the mass media to manipulate Nigerians and the international community, while plunging our country into the bottomless pit of retrogressive economy.

“Governor Oborevwori is not disturbed by unwanted distractions of certain individuals misrepresenting the state due to selfish political interests.

“The MORE agenda full scale implementation is ongoing, and at the end of the first tenure of Oborevwori’s administration his detractors shall applaud, appreciate and congratulate him, and even endorse him for second tenure,” Oghenesivbe assured.
