Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving key ministries, with immediate effect.
Under the redeployment, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu has been reassigned from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
Mrs Rose Ezewu has been transferred from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, and Dr Kingsley Ashibuogwu has moved from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The changes were disclosed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Eze Emu, who confirmed that the redeployment of the commissioners takes immediate effect.
In a related development, Governor Oborevwori has approved the nomination of three individuals to the Governing Council of the Delta State University, Abraka.
Those nominated are Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Charles Ajuyah, SAN.
The state government said the inauguration of the newly nominated Governing Council members will be announced at a later date.
