Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Hon Lovette Idisi as his Executive Assistant on FCT Abuja Liaison.

Idisi was a former member of the 8th National Assembly representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Oborevwori’s appointment of the Oviore-born politician in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, dated Thursday, January 4, 2024.

In a phone chat with NewsNet Ngeria, Idisi commended Governor Oborevwori for the confidence reposed in him to serve in achieving his MORE agenda for Deltans.

“His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori is truly committed to advancing development in Delta State through his administration’s MORE agenda. He is a man appointed by God at this point in the political evolution of Delta State to be a bridge builder for sustainable peace and growth of the state.

“I pledge my unalloyed commitment and support to the Oborevwori’s government as I chart a new course to give a positive image to Delta State at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. I am indeed grateful to His Excellency,” said Idisi.

Until his appointment, Hon Lovette Idisi was the chairman of the Governing Council of the College of Education Mosogar, Delta State, whose tenure expired on December 12, 2023.
