Former Nigeria Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the development in a terse text message on Tuesday.
The former minister is said to have been arrested and taken to the Lagos zonal command of the EFCC over allegations of fraud — including forgery.
Fani-Kayode recently rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in September.
He had been having a running battle with the EFCC for some time and he was once remanded for 67 days in 2016 alongside a former minister of finance, Nenadi Usman.
