Authorities of Warri South Local Government Council in Delta state have announced a weeklong closure of selected roads in Warri for maintenance.
In a statement on Sunday, the Chairman of Warri South Council, Dr Michael Tidi, explained that the temporary closure takes effect from Monday, November 14.
According to Tidi, Ubeji Roundabout will be closed between 7 am and 9 am, and enjoined motorists plying the route to use Elizabeth Close.
The Warri South Council boss added that Okere Square will also be affected by the weeklong closure, urging motorists in that axis, to use alternate routes like Eboh Road and Warri/Sapele Road.
Whilst noting that Edjeba community road from SPDC gate will also be temporarily shut down, Tidi, advised vehicle owners to ply the DBS Warri route as an alternative.
