Several people-oriented projects to serve the people living across the Benin River in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State have been commissioned by Chiefs of Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR Olu Olu of Warri.
The projects executed by the Roli Mabo Foundation aim to ensure enhanced and improved lives of the people in furtherance of the foundation’s commitment to extend God’s kindness and Love which are free.
Chiefs of the Olu of Warri involved in the commissioning of the projects on Saturday, May 18, 2024, were the Olulaye of Warri Kingdom (Oghorọju), Chief (Dr.) Eugene Ikomi, the Iye of Warri Kingdom (Ẹsilokun-ojimẹ), Chief (Mrs.) Esther Okotie-Ẹboh and the Aboludero of Warri Kingdom (Opuaro), Chief ((Engr.) Dr. Wilson Edun Olley.
A new clean water system for the good people of Daleoketa and a new road (walkway) for the people of Ekekporo were commissioned by Chief Dr Ikomi.
Chief Mrs Esther Okotie-Eboh commissioned the new Healthcare centre plus pharmacy in Ugbege to serve all the communities around for free.
While a new standard library for Ginuwa Grammar School, Gbokoda was commissioned by Chief (Engr.) Dr. Olley Wilson, who also donated Five Hundred Thousand Naria (N500,000:00) for the purchase of various books for the library.
Speaking for Roli Mabo Foundation, Ade Mabo said the projects without any sponsorship were to give a sense of belonging to the people across the Benin River in Warri North Local Government Area as government alone cannot meet the yearnings and aspirations of its citizenry.
“Our motive, with no grant or sponsorship of any sort, is to share the kindness of God which is for FREE and to inspire more Iwere Kingdom children to come out, help our communities and their neighbours just because we can ALL extend God’s kindness to others.
“Ade Mabo Foundation shall be collaborating with the Chiefs, Gbokoda Community representatives to bring Ginuwa Grammar School boarding School to limelight.
“Special thanks to all Daleoketa Chiefs for their support and commitment towards the movement. There is NO mankind if MAN can not be KIND to one another,” said Mabo.
Also part of the entourage for the project commissioning were the Wife to Ologbotsere of Warri, Mrs Caroline Eyewuoma, Dr. Emmanuel Towu from the UK, Secretary Jakpa Management Committee – Mr Tony Omabuwa and Pastor Jonathan Akpata of Gbokoda Management Committee.
