Okowa’s projects will stand the test of time – Ukuwrere

The immediate past President-General of Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU) in Delta State, Chief Austin Tivere Ukuwrere has asserted that projects executed by the state Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa will stand the test of time.

Ukuwrere made the assertion at the weekend in a media interaction with newsmen on the 31st year anniversary of the creation of Delta State in Effurun headquarters of Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.

He stated that all the projects executed by Governor so far were outstanding in terms of quality saying, “If you ask me to list some of the achievements so far recorded since the creation of Delta State, I will say the execution of quality projects by Governor Okowa’s administration is one of them.

“They will stand the test of time even if he has left office. He (Governor Okowa) is a pride to Delta State” he added.

To substantiate his claim, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Okowa on Community Development listed the rehabilitation of Ugbomro/Iteregbi road, the near completion Effurun Technical College, rehabilitation of Airport Junction, the ongoing rehabilitation of Jakpa Junction, the ongoing execution of the massive flood control system in Effurun among others in Uvwie Local Government Area.

He emphasized that the said projects would stand the test of time.

Ukuwrere urged Deltans to support the Atiku/Okowa ticket expressing confidence that Governor Okowa will bring his wealth of experience to play in the execution of projects in Nigeria should Nigerians entrust their mandate to them to lead the country in 2023.
