Senator Ned Nwoko representing Delta North in the National Assembly, has said that following his election as the senator representing the people of Delta North, he has a mandate from his constituents that he must fulfill.
During the campaigns for the 2023 senatorial election, Senator Nwoko assured the people that he would represent them well in the Red Chamber, adding that their welfare would be his top priority.
Senator Nwoko revealed that with the overwhelming support given to him by the people of Delta North, he would ensure he speaks and defends the Anioma people and bring their development needs to the front burner of legislative business.
Nwoko, who is chairman of Senate Committee on Reparation and Repatriation, insisted that as a man who stands on integrity and honour, having received honour from his constituents, he would honour them by ensuring that whatever is due to them is not denied them.
In most fora, where he bared his mind, he emphasized that he is not after personal aggrandizement but to be a good representative of the good people of Delta North.
In the renewed move for the creation of Anioma state, Senator Nwoko had told the Anioma people that he had no interest in being governor but he was only interested in building a future for the Anioma nation.
With the knowledge of the needs of his constituency, Senator Nwoko has pledged his commitment to deploy his connections and contacts to develop the zone and leave a legacy that will be remembered for years.
Before becoming Senator for Delta North, Nwoko had touched the lives of people in Anioma land. He has touched people with different needs and has been succour to those who approached him for whatever need.
