Nigeria’s former Minister for Science and Technology, Chief Grace Akpoguma has hailed Comrade Ejiro Otarigho for his brave and heroic act at Agbarho in Delta State.
Akpoguma who is from Agbarho said the action of Otarigho averted what would have led to the loss of countless numbers of lives and property.
She noted that Otarigho risked his life by driving a burning petroleum tanker for more than twenty minutes from Agbarho town where there was much traffic to a secluded place.
The former minister stressed his bravery was an uncommon act of selflessness and love for humanity which are worthy of commendation.
She thanked and commended Otarigho for putting the lives of others first and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
Chief Akpoguma called on the state and federal governments to give him national awards to encourage him and spur others to emulate him.
