Ebenezer defeats Oguma, others to emerge Akpile of Olomu Kingdom

Two-time Commissioner in the Delta State Executive Council, Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu has emerged as the Akpile of Olomu kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

Dependable sources told NewsNet Nigeria that the Akpile is third next king in waiting and third in command in Olomu kingdom.

Okorodudu, a Ph.D. holder is also the immediate past Chief Of Staff to the former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly now Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

He defeated Olorogun John Oguma, Olorogun Lawrence Esiso, and Olorogun Jacob Diejomahor in a fair contest conducted by the two electoral officers, Olorogun Napoleon Ogbarode Ogbon and Olorogun Justice Abohwoyere on Friday, August 11, 2023, in Ovwodokpokpor Olomu town hall.

Elder Different Ikpen represented the most senior person in Ovwodokpokpor Olomu, the headquarters of Oghoro ruling house prayed for the Akpile-Elect, Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu.

In his acceptance speech, Olorogun Okorodudu, thanked the Executive, Elders, Etota, Women and Youths of Oghoro.

While pledging to serve Oghoro Ruling House and Olomu kingdom meritoriously to the Glory of God, Olorogun Okorodudu, called for prayers, support and cooperation of every son and daughter of Oghoro to enable him to succeed.

Present during the election were Olorogun Johnson Ukpeibo, Oghoro ruling house chairman, Olorogun William Alu, Vice Chairman, Etota of Okpare, Ovwor, Umolo, Ovwodokpokpor, Agbazo and  Aloba.
