His people-oriented initiatives and far-reaching empowerment programmes have earned widespread acclaim, with many describing them as unprecedented in the political history of the region.
Political observers and analysts note that Senator Nwoko’s visibility and proactive style have so outshone those of his counterparts that he is often regarded as the de facto senator for the entire Delta State in the current legislative cycle.
With his facilitation of federal projects worth billions of naira, coupled with his unwavering advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, Senator Nwoko’s re-election bid in 2027 continues to gain broad-based support across every part of Delta North.
Many constituents now believe that key political stakeholders from the district—including the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa; the current Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme; and former Senator Peter Nwaoboshi—should set aside personal political ambitions and collectively rally behind Senator Nwoko.
