Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, may be a first-timer in the Nigerian Senate, but his performance over the past two years has firmly established him as a standout among the trio representing Delta State in the 10th National Assembly.

Demonstrating remarkable legislative competence and capacity, Nwoko has merged vibrant advocacy with dynamic engagement at the local, national, and international levels—setting a new benchmark for senatorial representation in Delta State.

His people-oriented initiatives and far-reaching empowerment programmes have earned widespread acclaim, with many describing them as unprecedented in the political history of the region.

Political observers and analysts note that Senator Nwoko’s visibility and proactive style have so outshone those of his counterparts that he is often regarded as the de facto senator for the entire Delta State in the current legislative cycle.

With his facilitation of federal projects worth billions of naira, coupled with his unwavering advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, Senator Nwoko’s re-election bid in 2027 continues to gain broad-based support across every part of Delta North.

Many constituents now believe that key political stakeholders from the district—including the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa; the current Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme; and former Senator Peter Nwaoboshi—should set aside personal political ambitions and collectively rally behind Senator Nwoko.

Such unity, they argue, is essential for sustaining Delta North’s growing influence in the Red Chamber and ensuring continued federal presence and development in the region.

Consequently, there is a rising determination among the people to resist any orchestrated campaigns aimed at derailing their collective aspiration.

For many, the return of Senator Ned Nwoko to the Senate in 2027 transcends politics—it is a unified commitment to progress, development, and impactful representation that delivers tangible results.
