Ned Nwoko: A Dance of Truth

The recent tantrum disguised as an opinion piece by an unknown, Jackson Ekwugum, desperately trying to rewrite reality, is referenced. Let’s set the record straight.

Senator Ned Nwoko, the distinguished Senator of Delta North, has never hidden behind political correctness. He speaks facts, backs them up with receipts, and lets history judge. But apparently, facts have become a bitter pill for some. The Governor and his cheerleaders, after years of be-striding the Government House with their street-style politics, are suddenly offended that someone is holding a mirror to their excesses. First, they called him a liar, unleashing a pack of attack dogs to hound him. Then, when a closed-door meeting video surfaced—where the Senator gave a raw, fact-based account of Delta’s finances, they panicked. What did the Governor do? He doubled down on the lie.

Yet, was first to publicly call Senator Prince Ned a liar Shamelessly.

Let’s be clear: popularity is not judged by how many people attend a sitting Governor’s event. That is the most myopic yardstick ever. The Governor is a temporary seat; people flock to it, not the man. In two years, when the APC takes over, the same people clapping today will find a new seat to hover around. Phones will stop ringing, the crowds will move on, and the cold hand of political reality will set in. We will be here to remind him.

The Governor’s so-called “street wisdom” has cost him dearly. His party, PDP, now boasts of exactly zero Senators in Delta. Zero. A dead structure he is desperately trying to hold onto, hoping for a miracle in 2027. Meanwhile, the man he so desperately tries to diminish—Senator Ned Nwoko—is making things happen. He has fought for this country in international courts, recovering over $20 billion. He has planted the flag in the fight against malaria. He flies his colleagues in his own jet—not for show, but for results. While some politicians are struggling to pass even a single bill, five of Senator Nwoko’s bills—including the Anioma State bill, have already been selected for constitutional review.

And then, of course, we come to the matter of our delectable wife, Regina Daniels. Yes, let’s talk about that since it seems to bother some people so much. When the Distinguished Senator, his delectable wife, and his astute politician-in-law toured the nooks and crannies of Delta, mobilizing in favour of the Governor, what was the reward? It was a whirlwind of a campaign. The reward  “ukodo of empty words”. But when the “full option package” worked for him, it was not trivialized.

“If e easy, make you run am for 2027.”

APC Progress.
