The commissioner representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Mr Ikechukwu Akozor, is dead.
NewsNet Nigeria learnt that Akozor passed on Thursday morning in a hospital at Asaba, the state capital.
His death comes a year after the Commission lost Hon. Joyce Overah, who until his death represented Sapele, Ethiope West, and Okpe Local Government Areas.
Special Assistant to Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, who broke the news of the death of Mr Ikechukwu Akozor on his official Facebook page, “We just lost Desopadec Commissioner Representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality, Mr Ikechukwu Akozor.
“His death is a sad one to Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and Ndokwa nation. May his soul RIP.”
