A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, John Obukowho Nani, has felicitated with the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on the occasion of his 47th birthday, describing him as a unifying figure whose leadership has strengthened legislative stability in the state.
Nani, who is also the Aghwemutuwevwi of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area, in a goodwill message on Wednesday, commended the Speaker for his calm disposition and ability to foster cohesion among members of the Assembly despite political differences.
He noted that under Guwor’s leadership, the legislature has continued to operate with a sense of purpose, discipline, and cooperation, contributing to a more stable and productive governance environment in Delta State.
According to Nani, the Speaker’s approach to leadership has not only enhanced lawmaking but has also reinforced public confidence in the legislative arm of government.
He further praised Guwor’s commitment to peace, inclusiveness, and constructive engagement, describing these qualities as essential to sustainable development and democratic growth.
“As a leader, you have demonstrated maturity, balance, and a clear dedication to service. Your ability to bring people together in pursuit of common goals remains commendable,” Nani stated.
The APC chieftain expressed optimism that Guwor would continue to build on his achievements, urging him to sustain the tempo of purposeful leadership for the benefit of the people of Delta State.
He wished the Speaker good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead as he continues in his role.
