An educationist and a teacher with the King’s College, Lagos, a Federal Unity School, Mrs. Evelyn Ifeadi, has described her mother, late Mrs. Helena Aboloma as her gist partner.

She stressed the need for society to immortalise individuals for investing in humanity by impacting on lives.

Mrs. Ifeadi, who is an Assistant Director of Education, Federal Ministry of Education , made the call at Ubulu-okiti, Aniocha South Local Government Area , Delta State while fielding questions from newsmen days after the burial ceremony of her mother, late Mrs. Helena Aboloma.

She said that her mother had touched several lives , particularly the less privilege, adding that the deceased encouraged and empowered many children that came around her to be self reliant .

Mrs. Ifeadi stated that her mother trained many people that were not her biological children in the higher institutions , stressing that she was always ready to attend to the needs of every person that came across her to the extent that she would not relent until such individuals have gotten sufficient support to stand on their own.

She described the mother as a devoted Christan that built the foundation of her life in the fear of God , adding that she inculcated in them the spirit of kindness.

While saying that her mother was her role model, who inspired her so much in life , Mrs. Ifeadi disclosed that as part of measures to immortalise her mother, she would write a poem in memory of their mother which she said her children and great-grandchildren would read and know attributes of her mother.

She explained that her mother was her best partner and closest friend, emphasizing that they would always sustain her endearing legacies.

Earlier in a solemn burial mass at the St. James Catholic Church, Ubulu-Ekiti, Monsignor John Ikem Aduba, harped on the need for christians to live a Godly life and fight the good fight of faith while awaiting the crown of glory at the end of time.

In their separate condolence messages, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, Dr. Festus Okubor, the Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana and Chief Dan Okenyi described late Mrs. Helena as a woman of peace and urged the children to sustain her legacies.
