Class 93, Department of Mass Communication of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, has congratulated Mr Charles Aniagwu on his reappointment as Commissioner and member of the Delta State Executive Council.

The Alumni Association in a statement signed by its National President, Rev Austen Akhagbeme described Mr Aniagwu as a pride of Class 93, stressing that the association is very proud of his achievements.

Rev Akhagbeme noted that the alumni body had closely observed Mr Aniagwu performances as Chief Press Secretary, CPS to the Governor of Delta State and later Commissioner for Information, pointing out that his reappointment as Commissioner for Information was an affirmation that he did very well in the earlier assigned responsibilities.

Rev Akhagbeme said Mr Aniagw has not only contributed in no small measure in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people; he had remained at the forefront in the Stronger Delta vision of the Delta State Government.

The National President, Class of 93, Department of Mass Communication, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, charged Mr Charles Aniagwu to remain a good ambassador of the class.

“We hereby express our joy and felicitation on your recent reappointment into the prestigious Executive Council of the Delta State Government as an Honorable Commissioner For Information the second time running.

“As former classmates and Alumni of the Mass Communication Department, Auchi Polytechnic, we are proud of this giant stride by one of our own and therefore wish you a memorable tenure,” Akhagbeme stated.

The National President on behalf of the alumni association thanked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the reappointment of Mr Aniagwu into his cabinet and subsequent reappointment as Commissioner for Information.

Rev Akhagbeme assured Mr Aniagwu of the support of his classmates at Auchi in achieving more for the state and humility at large, stressing that as one of the pillars of the Okowa’s led administration in Delta State, he should remain focused and never be distracted.
