We still miss our father two years after his demise – Segun Obada

Olorogun Segun Brume Obada, one of the children of Urhobo Icon, late Major-General Orho Obada has said they still miss their father two years after his demise.

Segun Obada stated this at the two years of remembrance of the late Army General.

He noted that his father was a humble, God-fearing and caring person, who is still being missed by all who knew him for his benevolence.

According to him, his late father had a strong passion for Nigeria and its citizens hence, he fought gallantly for the unity of the country.

He added that late Major-General Orho Obada was a role model, a gallant military officer, a trailblazer and a beacon of hope for many while alive.

Segun Obada said his father spent his retirement working for peace, unity and progress of Urhoboland, served in various capacities in the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, until his death.

He stated that the family he left behind still misses him to date, for his invaluable words of advice, benevolence and love.

He prayed God to continue to grant his gentle soul eternal rest.
