Warri-based philanthropist and transformational leader, Engr. Olley Wilson Edun has been conferred with an honorary degree of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) by the London Bridge Business School.
Engr. Olley, who works in one of the biggest United States of America (USA) oil companies in Nigeria was conferred with the honorary degree on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, in London upon the fulfillment of the prescribed requirements and recommendation of the Academic Advisory Board, the Senate of London Bridge Business School and her learning partner.
The institution at the same ceremony awarded the Iwere-born philanthropist and Transformational leader a Postgraduate Certificate in Management (PgCMgt) 45 session an Executive Education Programme.
Also during the week in Accra, Ghana, Engr. Olley, who was nominated as Governor by the class of June 2023 Transformational Leadership for Africa, was awarded a medal of Francis Kwame Nkrumah (21 September 1909 – 27 April 1972).
Francis Kwame Nkrumah was a Ghanaian politician, political theorist, and revolutionary of Ghana for transformational leadership in Africa.
While in Ghana the entourage of Engr. Olley visited the castle where the tour guide took them around the Cape Coast Castle and showed them the point of no return where African people are sold into slavery.
Engr. Olley, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a distinguished fellow of the Africa Institute of Public Administration (DFAI), and a distinguished gentleman with the heart of charity in his remarks said, “We must stop all forms of colonialism, oppression and leadership exploitation of all and sundry.
“We must strive to provide innovations, emotional intelligence, diversity, and inclusion by using Uber, and Amazon online shopping model, using the Singapore and Rwanda model and effective communication to build or transform our communities, local government, state government, and federal government by creating a new learning environment- where new leaders are born with a new mindset of leadership by changing our various communities to Dubai model of development.

Engr. Olley Wilson Edun, who was on January 15th, 2023, nominated as a candidate for 2023 Diversity and Inclusion global champions is presently the Chairman of Daleoketa Community in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State Peace, Conflict and Resolution Committee and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Wiptoff Nig Limited.
He runs a Renewable Energy Power company, School Runs business and vehicle hire services.
His scholarship scheme program for both Iwere and non-Iwere students is one of the best in Warri Kingdom.
