Ughelli NUJ Chapel chairman, Sunday Apah loses father-in-law

Comrade (Chief) Sunday Apah, Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel has lost his father-in-law, Pa. Anthony Fakorede.

Until his demise on November 2023 at the age of 95, Pa Fakorede was a respected figure in Ifon community, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area.

Chief Sunday Apah in a statement said, late Pa. Fakorede, born on 10th November 10, 1928, in Ifon, lived a remarkable life dedicated to service, family, and community.

“He was highly regarded for his contributions to the local community and his unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.

“Throughout his years, Pa. Fakorede actively participated in various social and philanthropic initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

“Papa’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made in his community. His legacy of compassion, dedication, and service will continue to inspire others for generations to come,” Sunday Apahin the statement.
