The 5th-year memorial service in honour of the Late Professor Michael Young Nabofa has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
A lecture on the life and times of Prof Nabofa would be delivered by a renowned Professor of Economics at Delta State University, Abraka, Christopher O. Orubu at the ceremony which will take place at Nabofa’s Compound, along East-West Road, Uwheru in Ughelli North Local Government Area Delta State beginning at 11am.
The 5th-year memorial service would be officiated by Rev. Dr. Oghenevwede E. Oyovwi of Our Saviour’s Chapel and Department of Science Education, Delta State University, Abraka.
Entertainment would be provided by the Udje cultural troupe of Udu, Bayelsa State Art Council, Delta State Art Council and Active Play House, Rivers State.
