Popular Nigerian billionaire club owner, Obinna Iyiegbu, Obi Cubana, popularly known, a few days ago came under heavy public criticism for what some Nigerians have described as an ‘outrageous’ display of wealth during the burial of his mother at Oba in Anambra state.
Popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju, had in his reaction on his Twitter page, warned the billionaire club owner to slow down on his open display of opulence to avoid ending up in jail.
However, contrary to the view expressed by some Nigerians that Obi Cubana is not concerned about alleviating poverty and contributing to societal growth, NewsNet understands that Obi on Sunday, July 18, after the church service in honour of his late mother, announced that he would be giving out N1million to 300 youths from his home town Oba, to support and empower them.
In a selfie video, he posted on his Instagram page after the church service, Obi Cubana said in conjunction with some of his friends the building will be completed in six months time which is in December.
