The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has joined in honouring, Mr Ejiro Otarigho for his bravery in averting a major disaster at Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Chairman of the Delta State National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr Kingsley Idisi presented the Council’s award to Otarigho plus a four-year National Health insurance Scheme.

Mr Idisi said that they decided to honour the tanker driver as a way to encourage Nigerian youths to emulate his effort which helped to avert deaths in Agbarho.

He, however, harped on the need for the government of Delta State to provide a job opportunity to Mr Ejiro Otarigho as part of its rewards for his bravery noting that he has indirectly elevated the level of Delta State amongst its counterparts in the country.

Responding, Mr Ejiro Otarigho attributed the commendations he has so far received to the glory of God.

Mr Ejiro Otarigho recently drove a burning tanker in the busy area of Agbarho and his bravery helped in averting what would have resulted in countless deaths.
