Former Delta senator, Patrick Osakwe is dead

Former Nigerian senator from Delta State, Patrick Enebeli Osakwe has passed at a London hospital at the age of 73.

Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, broke the news of the death of Osakwe, who represented Delta North Senatorial District from May 1999 – May 2011, a few minutes before midnight on Tuesday.

Born on 11 August 1948, Osakwe hailed from Ugili-Amai in Ndokwa-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
