Former chairman of Burutu Local Government Area in Delta State, Chief Ebikeme Clark has the visited the governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa at Owa-Alero in Ika North-East Local Government Area to console with him and his family over the demise of his father, Pa Arthur Okowa.
NewsNet had reported on Thursday morning that Pa Okowa, died at the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Asaba, after a brief illness at the age of 88 years.
Ebikeme, who is now the Executive Assistant on Conflict Resolution to Governor Okowa said the late patriarch lived a fulfilled life having given birth and nurtured one of his children who later became the finest, refined and intelligent governor in the history of Delta State.
He noted that Dr Okowa who would greatly miss his father who has been a strong pillar to him especially in his determination to leave enduring legacies in the administration of the state.
Ebikeme, who also recalled some moments with the late Pa Okowa, described him as a father to be proud of.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the governor and his family as well as prayed God to comfort them in their moment of grief.
