An ex-corps member, Comrade Ichado Andrew, who was among the batch of corps members that recently passed out in Delta State has rated very high the State House of Assembly on its legislative mandate to the people of the state.
Ichado described the State legislature as exemplary in Nigeria particularly in the robust working relationship between the House and the executive arm.
The former corps member who served in the Chambers of the Delta State House of Assembly made the commendation shortly after their send-forth party at the Assembly complex, Asaba.
He commended the harmonious relationship existing between both arms of government which has gone a long way in fast-tracking development in the state adding that big kudos goes to the State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for his passion to achieving a STRONGER DELTA.
ICHADO disclosed that he learnt so much by observing the processes of bills turning into laws noting that his posting to the State Assembly would greatly aid him in the politics and governance of his own state.
He added that as an Economics graduate he would not have performed better if not for the one-year training he acquired from the Hallowed Chambers.
According to him, his experience with the House Committee on Education provided him with another opportunity to know more about the laws that had enhanced education in Delta State.
He also commended the leadership of the House led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborovwori, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Ochor Ochor, Clerk of the House, Mrs. lyna Aliya Ocholor and the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Hon. Charles C. Emetulu, for their wonderful support during his service year at the Assembly.
ICHADO also thanked the Deputy Clerk of the House, Barr. Otto Aghoghophia, Director, Legislative Matters, Mr. D.S Olorogun, Barr. Austin Uwasike, Secretary, House Committee on Education and many others that contributed to making his service year a huge success.
