Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has assigned Chief Ebikeme Clark as his Special Adviser on Housing Development.
Ebikeme was on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, reappointed along four other Deltans as Special Advisers in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah.
In a statement on Wednesday (28/07/2021) in Warri, Ebikeme, a former Chairman of Burutu Local Government described Governor Okowa as a focused and detribalised politician whose legacies would outlive generations to come in the state.
Okowa according to Ebikeme has despite obvious challenges continued to ensure steady growth of the state.
“The Governor has continued to display maturity, competence, capacity and the fear of God in the running of the affairs of Delta State.
“His dexterity in leadership and governance has no doubt has continued to manifest in the commissioning of several projects and execution of human capital oriented programmes that have transformed the lives of unemployed, widows and the less privileged in the state,” said Ebikeme.
The one-time Executive Assistant on Conflict Resolution to Okowa expressed immense gratitude to the Governor for finding him once again worthy to serve in his administration.
Ebikeme pledged his unflinching commitment and loyalty to the Governor, who he described as his father.
He also promised to continue to give his best towards ensuring that the Stronger Delta mantra of the Governor is achieved.
“They say to whom much is given, much is expected. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has continued to show me love and demonstrate the confidence he has reposed in me; so I must continue to live up to expectation to continue to enjoy and merit his love towards me,” Ebikeme stated.
