Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has paid an unscheduled condolence visit to the leader, Ewu Political Parliament, Chief Oviri Uto, over the demise of his father-in-law, Chief (Dr) Bestmart Digbori, the Ehruvwu of Agbarha Warri Kingdom.
The speaker, who was accompanied by top government functionaries, described the late academia as an astute and diligent man who cherished cultural values.
He condoled with the deceased’s son-in-law, Olorogun Uto, family members, other relatives and well-wishers who had thronged the country home of Olorogun Uto in Ekiugbo, Ughelli, to mourn the late technocrat and former senior lecturer at Delta State University, Abraka.
Prayers were said by the Speaker and members of his entourage for the family for God to grant the deceased’s soul eternal rest.
The remains of the Unuovwodo and Head of Administration Igbudu community Warri will be laid to rest in his family compound Digbori street, Igbudu Agbarha, Warri, Delta State on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Earlier, the Convener, Delta Central Political Parliament and Leader Ewu Political Parliament in a chat with newsmen reiterated his support for the aspiration of Olorogun John Nani to emerge as the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, flag bearer for Delta Central Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections.
When asked about the Ughelli South House of Assembly permutations, the former Council boss noted that he is not in the support of a third term tenure bid by any politician.
