A frontline governorship aspirant in Delta State for 2023, Olorogun Fred Majemite, has commiserated with the people of Ughelli North Local Government Area over the death of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the area, Hon. Lawrence Agbatutu.

Majemite who on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Agbatutu and the President-General of Agbarho noted that the deceased Ughelli North PDP chairman was a real party leader, who work assiduously to see that Ughelli North remain united at all times.

He described the late Agbatutu as a friend and an illustrious Urhobo son, hence he was re-elected as the Chairman of PDP in Ughelli North.

According to him, the passing away of the PDP chairman occurred when his wealth of experience was highly needed as party leaders prepare for the 2023 electioneering process describing him as an astute politician.

While mourning the demise of Lawrence Agbatutu, Majemite equally expressed his condolences to the entire Agbarho community over the death of their illustrious son.

Majemite also commiserated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the death of Lawrence Agbatutu, one of his party Chairmen.

He further called on his campaign organisation to suspend all activities indefinitely to honour, late Hon. Lawrence Agbatutu and late Kenneth Okpara, former Commissioner and former co-Governorship aspirant.

Responding, the President-General of Agbarho community, Chief Monday Odiphri said the visit of Olorogun Fred Majemite shows his love for the former PDP Chairman, his family and the Agbarho people.

Odiphri who prayed for Majemite to succeed in his political race come 2023, expressed optimism that when he becomes Governor he will do more for Deltans.
