DC-23 solidarizes with Delta lawmaker, Izeze

Delta Central 2023, (DC-23) says it remains solidly behind Hon Reuben Yakubu Izeze and looks forward to his return to legislative duties.

DC-23 is the frontline political lobby group working for the actualisation of the next governor of Delta State come 2023 from Delta Central Senatorial District.

Presenting a cash amount to Izeze in Abuja on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, to support the huge medical bills being incurred by him following the assassination attempt on him by gunmen on Thursday, December 23, 2021, National Chairman of DC-23, Senator Ighoyota Amori, expressed delight with the recovery of Izeze, who was beaming with smiles during the presentation.

Amori described Izeze who represents Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly as one of the pillars of DC-23 stressing that the thoughts and wellbeing of the outspoken lawmaker are always in the minds of the leadership and members of political lobby group.

He thanked God for the life of Izee and prayed God to grant him quick recovery.

Hon Izeze, who was full of praise for DC-23 expressed profound thanks to the leadership of the group for the kind gesture.
