The Financial Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Sir Fidelis Adjogbe on Sunday, December 15, 2024, joined his siblings to celebrate the life and glorious home call of their mother, late Mrs Agnes Oruworuohwo Adjogbe.
The Adjogbes in a Holy Mass at St. John’s Catholic Church, Ewvreni in Ughelli North Local Government Area held to commemorate the life and impacts of their mother after fifteen years of transition, paid tributes to her excellent impacts during her earthly sojourn.
In a concise sermon, Rev. Fr. Philip Obewa extolled the late Mrs Agnes Adjogbe as a virtuous woman who treated everyone as her children and relatives.
“Though she left the earth at a very early age and when we needed her most, her excellent attributes have modelled many,” said the clergyman.
Rev Fr. Obewa, who was joined in the Mass by Rev Fr Anthony Ijoya, further commended the children and family members for honouring the memory of their matriarch, urging them to remain firm and committed to emulating the humanitarian traits of their mother by continuing to contribute to the growth and development of humanity.
Speaking with newsmen, Sir Fidelis Adjogbe, thanked everyone for joining him, his siblings and his family in celebrating the life and the great impacts of their mother.
He reiterated their commitment to consolidate the legacies of their mother, describing her as a virtuous mother who loved and cared for everyone when she was alive.
Late Mrs Agnes Oruworuohwo Adjogbe left behind her children Dr Lucky Adjogbe, Mrs Caro Wine, Engr. Dr Samuel Adjogbe FNSE, AKS (former Executive Director of Project, NDDC), Mrs Onajite Omamomo, Mr Okiemute Adjogbe, Ms. Stella Adjogbe and Sir Fidelis Adjogbe.
