8th Coronation Anniversary: Delta Speaker felicitates Monbene III of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom

Speaker Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, has felicitated with the traditional ruler of Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West Local Government Area, HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, on his 8th coronation anniversary.

Guwor in a congratulatory message to Pere Ama-Okosu and the entire Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom, expressed gratitude to God for His multiple blessings upon the monarch, his immediate family and the people of the community.

Saying that the 8th anniversary was worthy of celebrating, the Speaker who represents Warri South West in the Delta State Assembly acknowledged the role played by the people of Ogbe-Ijoh in ensuring his victory in the 2023 general elections.

Guwor assured that as the representative of the constituency, he will continue to preach peace and remain committed to advancing development in the kingdom and in the local government area.

The Speaker also commended the traditional ruler for his support for the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and urged him not to relent in that regard as the administration is poised to promote good governance in all parts of the state.

Emphasizing that the 8 years on the throne may not have been without some challenges, Guwor appealed to the Ogbe-Ijoh king to put in more efforts towards bringing a lasting solution to the age-long feud between his community and the people of Aladja in Udu local government area.

The Speaker stressed that there was the need for peace and unity amongst the people of both kingdoms for development to thrive in the localities, even as he assured that the state government was not resting on its oars in seeking permanent solution to the problem.

“I on behalf of my family, constituents and Delta State Assembly, congratulate one of my own, my king, my constituent and a dependable father, brother and friend, HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, on his 8th coronation anniversary.

“8th years on the throne of his forefathers is worthy of celebration. I congratulate him and wish him more peaceful reign in his kingdom. I pray for peace within the kingdom. I pray for peaceful coexistence with neighbours, particularly with the people of Aladja in Udu local government area. It is time to forgive one another and put an end to further crisis in the area,” he said.

Continuing Guwor stated “As the representative of the people of Warri South West, with Ogbe-Ijoh as headquarters, I need peace and tranquility to advance development in the locality. Once again, I congratulate HRM Couple Mackson Oromoni, Monbene III, Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, on his 8th coronation anniversary. I look forward to joining his subjects and millions of well-wishers to celebrate his silver jubilee anniversary and even beyond”.
