Governor Okowa said the correspondence was in conformity with the Delta State Fiscal Responsibility law 2020 as well as the state desire to ensure proper proper financial management and allocation of it scarce resources.
He said the Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper was prepared by the State Ministry of Economic Planning in line with international best practices, stressing that the document was key to preparation of the 2022 budget.
The Medium Term Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper for 2022 to 2024 as requested by the governor was approved by the House following a motion to that effect by the Deputy Majority Leader, Oboro Preyor and adopted.
