The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is to further wait till Friday to know if its convention can go ahead according to the decision of the Court of Appeal on Thursday afternoon.
The Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt again reserved ruling on the application filed by the embattled National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, till Friday at 12noon after counsels to the parties in matter adopted their written addresses and canvassed their positions.
Prince Uche Secondus is seeking the suspension of the party’s convention slated for the 30th and 31st of October 2021.
The three-man appeal panel led by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani had on Tuesday reserved its ruling on the motion for Thursday.
