Ahmed Gulak, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was on Sunday shot dead by unknown gunmen in Imo State.
NewsNet gathered that Gulak was ambushed in Umueze-Obiangwu community while on his way to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri.
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) it was also gathered was trailed from his hotel room to a place called Obiagwa, close to the Airport, where he was killed.
As at the time of filing this report, the Imo State Police Command was yet to confirm the incident.
