National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyiochia Ayu says he will not resign since he has four years mandate.
The camp of Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike has continued to insist on the resignation of Ayu as one of the steps to be taken towards reconciliation with the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, following the worsening relationship between both after the party’s special national convention.
Ayu’s Media Aide, Simon Imobo-Tswam, on Monday in a tweet said, “The PDP National Chairman, Dr. Iyiochia Ayu, has not resigned and has no plan of resigning.
“For clarity and emphasis, he was elected for a tenure of four years.”
