It was joy and celebration galore in Warri, Delta State, as Mr and Mrs Ehis Joseph Eigbefoh tied the knot and used the occasion to advise bachelors and spinsters to “go and marry.”
The couple, who spoke during their wedding reception held at William Square, Warri, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, urged singles to seek God’s direction in finding life partners rather than indulging in casual relationships.
According to the groom, Ehis Eigbefoh, a 2022 graduate of Edo State Polytechnic and CEO of E2Wyte Photo Studios, “Bachelors, go and marry. Leave girlfriend matter alone. I’m vthrilledbeing a married man today. It’s been a long time that I’ve been single, but today, I am married,” he said gleefully while showing off his wedding band.
Sharing why he chose his bride, Ehis revealed, “I’ve seen several women, but this one stood out. I saw her future — it’s very bright. She has everything I need in a woman, and I can see the mother of my children in her.”
On her part, Mrs Blessing Eigbefoh encouraged spinsters to keep faith with God, saying, “He alone gives the right partner. The Bible says a man shall leave his father’s house and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one.”
Blessing, daughter of Mr Isaac Sanusi from Lampesa in Akoko Edo, noted that she chose Ehis because “he accepted me the way I am, and I love him despite the population of men in the world.”
The couple expressed gratitude to God for the success of their ceremony and appreciated their parents, friends, and well-wishers for their support.
The lavish reception attracted notable personalities, including Maj. Emmanuel Eigbefoh Africa of the 63 Brigade, Nigerian Army; Warri-based lawyer Mr Lucky Egboyi, Esq.; and Comrade Felix Ekwu, Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, among others.
