Jose Poseiro, former Porto Manager, has been appointed as the new head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Poseiro is expected in Nigeria next week alongside the coach of Roma Jose Mourinho, who recommended him to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
It was however learnt that Peseiro would not be in charge of the Super Eagles for the Africa Cup of Nations but he will be in Cameroon to observe and work with the team from a distance before taking over for the World Cup qualifiers playoff.
