A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Denis O. Omovie is dead.
Omovie’s death was announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, at resumed plenary on Wednesday morning.
A minute silence was observed and the House adjourned in his honour.
NewsNet Nigeria gathered that the four-time lawmaker passed on Tuesday night after a brief illness.
He was a member of the Delta State House of Assembly between 2003 and 2019.
Until his death, he was the pioneer Unuevworo of Itche Ugboroke (Administrative unit) in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
