Ex-Reps Speaker, Patricia Etteh leaves EFCC custody

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs Patricia Etteh has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mrs Etteh’s release comes after spending four days in the custody of the anti-graft agency.

She was arrested by the EFCC on Wednesday, May 17, based on suspicious and shady financial involvement with Phil Jin Projects Limited and released on Friday, May 20, 2022, upon fulfilling bail conditions offered her by investigators working on her matter.

She is to report periodically to assist in further investigations.
