Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu pays JAMB registration for 500 constituents, empowers over 200

The member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu has undertaken the payment of JAMB registration of Five Hundred constituents.

Hon Ibori-Suenu announced this when she gave out several items under her youth and women empowerment for the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency at the Oghara Township Stadium, headquarters of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.

Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, before emerging as the people’s choice for the Ethiope Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in the 2023 National Assembly election served as a two-time member of the Delta State House of Assembly for Ethiope West Constituency.

The Federal lawmaker told a large number of her constituents at the Oghara Township Stadium that her top priority in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly is to attract the dividends of democracy to her people.

She disclosed that apart from paying the JAMB registration fee of 500 constituents at 250 each for Ethiope West and Ethiope East Local Government Areas, the 10 best students who beat the cut-off marks of their respective universities of choice would be offered scholarships throughout their university studies.

Hon Ibori-Suenu explained that the scholarship programme is in line with the importance she attaches to education which is key to building any society.

On her youth and women empowerment, Hon Ibori-Suenu gave out 40 motorcycles, 30 solar-powered mobile stores for either a hairdressing saloon or restaurant as well as 50 sewing machines and 50 hairdressing saloon dryers.

She also announced a distribution of 2000 bags of rice and a cash donation to the tune of 20 million.

Hon Ibori-Suenu particularly thanked the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency for being a strong pillar of support to her and her father, former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori promising not to disappoint the confidence they have continued to repose in her.

Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu during the event also announced that her empowerment programme will be carried out twice every year as part of her contributions to making the people economically viable.
