Actress Chinedu Bernard was said to have slumped while cleaning the Chapel of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in the Federal Housing area of Enugu State.
The Nollywood actress was later confirmed dead at the East Side Hospital in the state capital.
The priest, Reverend Father Uchendu Chukwuma, and some parishioners according to reports rushed her to the hospital where she was declared dead.
The actress, who is fondly called Choco, featured in popular movies like ‘The Big Mama’s’, ‘Money Fever’, ‘The Last Manhood’ and ‘Mad Love’.
The cause of her death remains unknown at the time of filing this report.
