Pastor Eucharia Anunobi, a renowned Nigerian actress has said that she needs a complete, god-fearing man for marriage immediately.
The 56-years-old native of Owerri, the capital of Imo State in South-East Nigeria was possibly debunking the alleged rumour of being engaged to a 27-year-old, which has set tongues wagging on social media.
Eucharia came to fame in the Nigerian movie industry when she starred in “Glamour Girls, a two-part Nollywood film about independent single women embarking on their own paths within Nigeria’s traditionally patriarchal society”.
Her marriage to Charles Ekwu in the early 2000s crashed in 2009.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Igbo, she said: “Please, I use this opportunity to tell the world that I want to marry urgently. A great man should show himself and put a ring on this finger of mine.
“My specification is a man who is God-fearing and handsome.
“He must be up to the task, having everything that makes a man male, you must be complete, that is all I can say.”
