The Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Project Monitoring, Hon. Raymond Edijala gave the assurance on Thursday, July 28, 2022, during project inspection at the Technical Colleges in Omadino and Ogharefe in Warri South and Ethiope West Local Government Areas.

Moved by the determination to actualise the mantra of a Stronger Delta, the Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Project Monitoring, Hon. Hon. Edijala and his team urged contractors and engineers on-site to carry out the job based on agreed specifications because the project is grossly behind time

They inspected the gatehouse building, Administrative building, the walkway and the landscaping work at the Omadino Technical College.

Hon. Edijala urged the contractors and engineers on-site to carry out the projects based on agreed specifications and deliver them on time to enable the State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, who doubles as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, inaugurates the projects before the end of his tenure.

At the Technical College in Ogharefe, Ethiope West Local Governments Area, Hon. Edijala and his team observed that work was also ongoing at the site as the Administrative building was freshly decked.

Hon. Edijala decried the absence of any staff of the contracting firm on-site including the security men to protect the state government’s huge financial investments in the Technical College, Ogharefe.

He further enjoined the engineers to desist from cutting corners noting that government will not take it lightly with any engineer who uses substandard materials.
