The Delta State Government has released the results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) conducted between June 16 and June 20.
In a statement, the State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, advised candidates to check their results using the scratch cards.
According to the statement, 97,508 candidates registered for the examination.
Out of these, 96,078 candidates (99%) were present and sat for the examination, while 1,430 candidates (1%) were absent.
The breakdown of the results shows that: 86,990 candidates (89%) passed the examination, 797 candidates (1%) failed and will have to repeat, and 8,201 candidates (9%) are to resit certain subjects.
Mrs. Ezewu noted that the date for the resit examination would be announced in due course.
