Delta State Government has released the results of 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) otherwise known as JS 3 results.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro on behalf of the State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu recalled that the examination was conducted from June 6th to June 10th, 2024.

The statement urged candidates to start checking their results online beginning Thursday, August 29, 2024.

It said that a total of 94,823 candidates registered for the examination out of which 88,047 representing 91% passed the examination.

The statement clarified that 7,142 candidates representing 8% would resist, stressing that 490 candidates representing 1% failed the examination while a total of 1,144 candidates were absent.

It added that candidates who failed the examination would repeat the class when school resumed on September 9, 2024.
