Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the payment of outstanding promotion arrears to workers in the State Public Service from August 2023.

The Governor’s approval, communicated through Circular Ref No. HOS/41/7/16 dated July 5th, 2023, and signed by the Head of Service, Mr Reginald Bayoko, aims to deliver positive and uplifting news to all workers within the State Public Service.

Bayoko said the phased payment would commence in August, starting with Civil Servants in the Ministries, followed by the Judiciary, Parastatals, and Hospitals Management Board (HMB) in September and Higher Institutions within the state and the Post Primary Education Board (PPEB) in October and November 2023, respectively.
