The families of Namakebri of Osibri and Ziowel-Ware of Orubri quarters, Kpakiama town in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, have announced the transition of their beloved wife, mother, sister and aunty, Madam Ekpongbolo Preyor, the mother of the member representing Bomadi Constituency and Deputy Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Engr) Kenneth Oboro Preyor.

The mother of six died at the age of 85 years and was until her demise a devout Christian and renowned community leader, who was also blessed with forty grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Hon Preyor, in a statement on behalf of the family, said there would be a Service of Songs in honour of his late mother on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at her husband’s compound, Osibri quarter, Kpakiama, while an open-air funeral service will take place next day at Ebikeniye Primary School, Kpakiama, to be followed by interment at Zioweiware, Orubiri quarter, Kpakiama town, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said entertainment of guests will commence thereafter at same Ebikeniye Primary School, Kpakiama town, even as he explained that burial rites of the late octogenarian will continue on Saturday 22nd May 2021, while outing service in her honour holds on Sunday 23rd May 2021 at Power of Faith and Truth Evangelical Ministry, Kpakiama, Bomadi Local Government Area by 10 o’clock in the morning.

The lawmaker prayed to God to grant the soul of his mother eternal rest in His kingdom.
